Cicero A. dos Santos was born in Juazeiro do Norte, Brazil, in 1987. He received the B.S. degree in industrial automation from the Federal Institute of Ceará, Juazeiro do Norte, Brazil, in 2008, and the M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from the Federal University of Ceará, Fortaleza, Brazil, in 2011 and 2021, respectively.

Since 2011, he has been a Professor with the Federal Institute of Paraíba, João Pessoa, Brazil. His research interests include power electronics, multilevel converters and integration of renewable energy sources into the power grid.
